LoRa parameters
net_id
: ID of the LoRaWAN™ network created. It is a 3 byte value in hexadecimal
period
: period in second of the heart beat message which will be published towards the MQTT server by
the gateway.
tx_power:
This parameter defines the electrical output power of the transmitter. Due to actual antenna, and antenna
cable , the radiated power is generally different from the output power.
By default the tx_power is automatically selected to have a radiated power which corresponds to the the region with
the default antenna specified in the datasheet, and no external antenna cable.
In case of different configurations, the tx_power can be selected manually to have an optimized radiated power.
Available values are 20, 14, 12, and 10dBm (example : tx_power=10). Tx_power default value is 12 dBm for EU model,
and 20 dBm for US model. This parameter shall be used carefuly, when changed, to meet regional regulation. It is only
available for lora software versions greater or equal to 1.6.

For TRACe-LP1 with 4G modem option integrating a GPS receiver, the last GPS position detected is reported in the
heartbeat. This feature isonly available for trace-lora software version greater or equal to 1.6). Below is an example
of the reported geolocation:
In the GPS section:
-
time : Time of update (number of seconds since epoch). Only positions with mode 2 or 3 (see below for details
about mode) are reported in the heartbeat. This time field is the time of the last valid position.
This field shall not be confused with the field time at the beginning of the heartbeat which is the time (number
of seconds since epoch) when the hearbeat message was generated.
-
mode: Mode of fix (mode 1 is no valid data, mode 2 is a 2D fix, mode 3 is a 3D fix). In the following fields, only valid
fields are reported. For example, if the mode is 2 (2D fix), no altitude will be reported.
