4.3.4.
USB 2.0
The rear I/O panel of the SBOX-5002 provides four USB 2.0 / 1.1 interfaces. These connectors allow connection of
USB-compatible devices to the system.
4.3.5.
Aperture reserved for DB9 COM port
The SBOX-5002 reserves an aperture on the rear I/O panel for a COM port with DB9 connector. It can be used to
connect an appropriate COM cable to the COM1 wafer (2x5-pin) or COM2 wafer (2x7-pin) mounted on the baseboard
to provide RS232/422/485 or reduced RS232 (only RX, TX, RTS and CTS support) serial communication function.
4.3.6.
Aperture reserved for USB 3.1 Type C port
The SBOX-5002 reserves an aperture on the rear I/O panel for a USB 3.1 port with Type C connector. It can be used to
connect an appropriate USB Type C extension cable to the USB wafer (USB3) mounted on the baseboard to provide
USB 3.1 communication function.

Orange - 1000 Mbit/s link established
Green - 100 Mbit/s link established
Off - 10 Mbit/s link established
LED satatus:
Off - Link is down
Flasing Green - Link is up and active
Steady Green - Link is up, no activity
