Cleaning and Storage
• Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe the outer body of the unit, the unit base and
transducer. Do not use sharp objects when cleaning the transducer.
• Do not immerse the unit in water or use chemicals or detergents as they could damage
the unit.
• Make sure to pour out all water from the water tank and dry it and the unit base
completely before storage.
• Clean the whole unit and make sure that all parts of the unit are dried completely,
including the ceramic balls in the filter, before storage.
Descaling
To reduce the build-up of white, film-like substance (caused by hard water) on the unit
base, transducer surface and inside the water tank, do the following on a regular basis:
• Use cold and distilled or filtered water.
• Clean the transducer, water tank and unit base regularly. Drain and dry all parts
completely.
• Change the water daily.

Indicator is on but no mist
or the volume of mist is
too low
• Make sure the water tank has enough water.
• Make sure the unit is on a stable and level surface.
• There may be too much mineral scale in the unit. If so,
clean the transducer and perform descaling.
• The water may be too dirty. If so, clean the water tank
and change the water.
Mist has a strange odour
• Clean the water tank more often and change the water
more often.
• It may be a new unit. Take out the water tank, open its
cover and let it air for several hours.
Abnormal noise
• Make sure the water tank has enough water.
• Make sure the unit is on a stable and level surface.
Always switch off and unplug the unit before cleaning.
Do not allow children to play with the filter as there is potential danger of
swallowing the ceramic balls when the filter is broken.
