Tuning to Preset DAB Stations
• Press the / buttons until the desired preset station is displayed. The system will tune
to the selected station automatically.
• You can also use the Number buttons (0-9) to input a number directly and tune to the
station associated with this number. To input a number larger than 10, press the 10+
button once and then use the Number buttons (0-9) to input the second digit.
DAB Display Modes
Every time you press the DISPLAY button, the bottom line of the display will cycle through
the following display modes: Station Name, Date/Clock, DLS, Signal Strength, Programme
Type, Bitrate, Audio, Frequency.
Station Name
When an RDS station is received, the name of the
station will be displayed.
Date/Clock
Radio stations provide clock and date information
automatically so there’s no need to manually set
this information.
DLS (Dynamic Label Segment)
Dynamic label segment is a scrolling message that
the broadcaster may include with their transmissions.
The message usually include information, such as
programme details etc.
Signal Strength
Shows a slide bar indicating the signal strength,
the stronger the signal, the longer the bar will be.
Programme Type
Programme type identification signal.
(e.g: News, Rock, Classical music.)
Bitrate
The display will show the digital audio bit rate
being received.
Audio
Shows if the station being received is in mono or stereo.
Frequency
The frequency of the present station will be displayed.
Secondary Service
Secondary services are extra services related to the primary station. e.g. a sports station may
want to add extra commentaries. The secondary services are inserted directly after the primary
station in the station list. To select the secondary station, press the button to confirm. When
the secondary service ends, the radio will automatically switch back to the primary station.
