Connecting to the Mains Supply
• This unit is designed to operate with an AC power supply or with the built-in battery.
• Connecting the unit to any other power source may cause damage to the unit. Unwind
the mains cable to its full length. Connect the mains cable to the mains adapter, and
then connect the other end of the mains adapter to the POWER INPUT 13.5V 3.5A
Socket of the unit. Connect the mains cable plug into the mains socket with
power supply. It starts battery charging and the unit is now ready to use.
• Charge the internal battery for 8 hours before first time use. Do not overcharge the unit.
Disconnect the mains cable plug from the mains socket to stop charging.
• If the unit will not be used for more than 72 hours, slide the POWER ON/OFF SWITCH
to OFF position to save battery power.
• To switch the unit off completely, slide the POWER ON/OFF SWITCH to OFF position
and unplug the mains plug from the mains socket.
• Ensure all audio connections of the unit are connected before connecting to the mains power socket.
• The surface of the unit may get hot if used at maximum volume for a prolonged period of time. Avoid
body contact with the base of the unit whilst operating.
ONLY use the USB FOR CHARGING ONLY 5V 1A Charging Port to charge small mobile devices. NEVER
use this port for any other purpose.

Charging from the USB CHARGING Port
The USB FOR CHARGING ONLY 5V 1A Charging Port is designed only for charging
mobile devices (e.g. MP3 player, mobile phone, etc). It supplies 5V DC at a charging current
of up to 1000mA (1A).
Use a USB cable (not included) to connect mobile device to the USB FOR CHARGING ONLY
5V 1A Charging Port of the unit and the mobile device will start charging.
