Troubleshooting
Checkpoints
If you encounter a problem with the washing machine, irst check the table below and try the
suggestions.
Problem Action
The washing machine
won’t start.
• Make sure the washing machine is plugged in.
• Make sure the door is properly closed.
• Make sure the water tap is open.
• Tap
Start
again on the main screen.
Water supply is
insuicient, or no water
is supplied.
• Open the water tap fully.
• Make sure the water supply hose is not frozen.
• Make sure the water supply hose is not kinked or clogged.
• Clean the ilter on the water supply hose.
The washing machine
vibrates badly or makes
noise.
• Make sure the washing machine is installed on a level loor. If the
loor is not level, use the levelling feet to adjust the level.
• Make sure that the shipping bolts are removed.
• Make sure the washing machine is not touching any other object.
• Make sure the laundry load is balanced.
The washing machine
does not drain and/
or spin.
• Make sure the drain hose is straightened all the way to the drain
system.
• Make sure the debris ilter is not clogged.
The door won’t open.
• Tap
Start
to stop operating the washing machine.
• The door remains locked during the heating cycle of the Sanitize
course.
• It may take several seconds to disengage the locking mechanism.
The washing machine
produces lots of
bubbles.
• Check if the Auto Detergent and Auto Softener settings are
properly speciied.
• Make sure you use the recommended types of detergent as
appropriate.
I cannot apply
additional detergent.
• Check the remaining amount of detergent and fabric softener to
see if they are already up to the limit.
• Make sure the Auto Dispense function is enabled, with both the
Water Hardness and Concentration settings properly speciied.
If a problem persists, contact a local Samsung service centre.
