Before you start

STEP 3 

Set the Auto Update

Auto Update updates the firmware 
automatically for improved performance 
and/or to fix known bugs through 
communication with the update server. 
Once the firmware is updated, some 
functions of the washing machine may not 
be available depending on the firmware 
version.

To update the firmware automatically, 

Slide the bar to 

On

. The update 

proceeds without notification when 
updates are available.

STEP 4 

Preliminary course

To remove water that might remain after the manufacturer’s test run, it is recommended 
to perform a preliminary cycle with an empty drum (i.e., with no laundry).

1. 

On the main screen, tap the Cycle icon to display the cycle tiles.

2. 

Select the 

Rinse + Spin

 cycle.

3. 

Tap 

Start

.

STEP 5 

Run Calibration (recommended)

Calibration Mode ensures the washing machine detects accurate weight for each load.

1. 

Make sure the drum is empty.

2. 

Tap 

Settings

 > 

Calibration Mode

. The description screen appears.

3. 

Tap 

Start

. The drum rotates clockwise and counter-clockwise for about 3 minutes.

4. 

When complete, “calibration complete” appears on the display and the washing 

machine turns off automatically.

NOTE

To cancel this function, stop operation and turn the washing machine off.
