4-2-2. Video trouble shooting
Enter the Factory mode.
Go to SVC → Test pattern
Implement Pattern sel.
Is there any problem with Video?
No
Cause : There are some problem with Main board.
Measure : Main board.
Yes
Implement FRC Pre Test pattern/NT72314
Pre pattern.
Is there any problem with Video?
Yes
Implement FRCPost
Test pattem/NT72314
Post Pattem.
Is there any problem
with Video?
Yes
Cause : T-con board
FRC board has
problems.
Measure : Change the
T-con board or
FRC board.
No
No
Chack the LVDS cable.
Check the 51P/41P 1.
LVDS cable. (FRC
↔ T-con)
Is there any problem
with connection &
cable?
Yes
Cause : Wrong connection
or cable problem.
Measure : Correct
connector or
Change LVDS
cable.
No
Cause : There are some prolem with T-con board or FRC
board (without NT72314 IC).
Measure : Correct the T-con or FRC board.
FRC board has many ICs. In this case, it’s not FRC IC (NT72314)
tiself. But We can’t judge what IC is problem clearly. So we need to
be in doubt FRC board’s other IC.
Check the LCDS cable.
Check the 80P/51P LVDS cable. 1.
(FRC ↔ Main board)
Is there any problem with connection & cable?
Yes
Cause : Wrong connection or cable problem.
Measure : Correct connector or Change LVDS cable.
No
Cause : There are some problem with
Main board.
Measure : Change the Main board.
NOTE
We can’t supply to T-CON test pattern . Because there are many issues to produce test pattern for two T-con (Top
and Bottom).
And we’ll supply to Service like below.
United service materal code: T-con (Top) + T-con (Bottom) + FRC board •
Reason: We can’t separate T-CON & FRC board from Video problem easily. the best method is chang the both of •
FRC board & T-con board.
