This function is used to silence the user’s voice during a call via an extension line,
but the user can still hear the voice of the other party.

During a call, select

[MUTE]

from the soft

menu.

Now the other party cannot hear the user’s
voice.

To disable the MUTE function, select the

[mute (Off)]

from the soft menu.

Alternately, pressing the

[Mute]

button to the left of the dial button provides the

same function.
