Backup Setting (SCSI HDD BACKUP)

You shall connect this DVR to an external SCSI HDD with a connector to backup or replay the

video or audio signal stored in the main body HDD. The external SCSI HDD is the only backup

device of this DVR.

Here comes the BACKUP SETUP menu.

BACKUP SETUP backups or replays the video or audio signal stored in the main body HDD

in the external SCSI HDD through the SCSI.

(1) BACKUP FROM RECORD EVENT LIST

BACKUP FROM RECORD EVENT LIST is for backing up fromto back up using the

record event list. Whenever the user presses the RECORD key in the HDD of the main unit

to record, or records for long period of time, an event list is generated at the certain intervals

of certain time. This function is for convenientis to backup of the chosen location, you want

conveniently using the generatedis list. The Ffollowing screen shows the detailed setting

forof  BACKUP FROM RECORD EVENT LIST. It displays the Event (RECORD

START), and the date and the time when it is recorded in the HDD. To exit this screen, press

the MENU button. It will return to The MENU screen will reappear. 

Use the JOG(       ) or UP(    ), DOWN(    ) to move the cursor. The highlighted cursor will be

displayed on the item selected. Move to the part of the EVENT LIST that you want to back up

and press the SET/STILL(           ) button to display the screen. 

The following screen shows the example of selecting ID 0 2.

System Information

The following illustrates the intial setting of the SYSTEM INFORMATION menu.

It displays the basic system information.
If the capacity for each (GB: Giga Byte) and the DISK END MODE of the RECORD
MODE SETUP 
menu are set to CONTINUE, you can find out in the CAPACITY(GB)
and OVERWRITE(#) the information about how many times a HDD is currently being
overwritten. 
VERSION indicates the software version installed on the system and MAC ADDRESS 
indicates the MAC Address entered in the system.
