Settings
(Menu 9)
The
Settings
menu provides you with
various setting options to customise the
phone to your preferences and needs. You
can also reset the settings to their default
status.
To access this menu, press <
Menu
> in Idle
mode and select
Settings
.
Time and date
(Menu 9.1)
Use this menu to change the time and date
displayed on your phone. Before setting the
time and date, specify your time zone in the
World clock
menu.

Use this menu to change the settings for
text input mode.

: you can change the
language of the display.

Fuzzy pinyin pairs
: you can select
Mohu pinyin pairs so that you can easily
enter characters that are similar in
phonetic spelling.
Greeting message
(Menu 9.2.2)
Use this menu to enter the greeting that is
displayed briefly when the phone is switched
on.
Shortcuts
(Menu 9.2.3)
You can use the Navigation keys as
shortcuts to access specific menus directly
from Idle mode. Use this menu to assign a
shortcut to a key.
