Call functions
Using the headset
Use the headset to make or answer calls without
holding the phone.
Connect the headset to the jack on the left side of the
phone.
The buttons on the headset work as listed below:
Options during a call
You can access a number of functions during a call.
Adjusting the volume during a call
Use [Up] or [Down] to adjust the earpiece volume
during a call.
Press [Up] to increase the volume level and [Down] to
decrease the volume level.
Placing a call on hold/Retrieving
Press <Hold> or <Unhold> to place the call on hold
or retrieve the call.
Using the menu functions
You can use other menu functions.
Press <Options> and select Menu.
Switching off the microphone (Mute mode)
You can temporarily switch off your phone’s
microphone so that the other person on the phone
cannot hear you.
Press <Options> and select Mute or Unmute.
Muting or sending key tones
You can turn the key tones off or on.
Press <Options> and select Mute keys or Send
keys.

To communicate with answering machines or
computerised telephone systems, Send keys must
be selected.
