Excel Mobile
Excel Mobile works with Microsoft Excel on your computer
to give you easy access to copies of your workbooks. You
can create new workbooks on your phone, or you can copy
workbooks from your computer to your phone. Synchronise
workbooks between your computer and your phone so that
you have the most up-to-date content in both locations.
Creating a workbook
1. From the
Start
menu, tap
Office Mobile
→
Excel
Mobile
. A new workbook opens.
If you have selected a template for new workbooks, that
template appears with text and formatting already
provided. To set a template, on the file list, tap
Menu
→
Options...
→
Template for new workbook
.
2. Select a cell. If the cell is not visible, tap
Menu
→
Edit
→
Go To...
Enter the reference (example:A4) and tap
OK
.
3. Enter the value or text and press in the input panel.
Text is automatically aligned to the left.
4. You can edit and format data by tapping
Menu
→
Edit
,
Format
, and
Tools
. For more details, see the online
help.
5. Tap
to save the workbook.
The workbook is automatically saved as an Excel Mobile
workbook named
Book1
.
Note
: You can open a new workbook by tapping
Menu
→
File
→
New
.
