For the phone to make and receive phone calls, it must

handle any of the following types of networks:
• GSM 1900
• Combined GSM 900/1800
• GSM 900/1800/1900

The country where you purchased your phone

determines the default band that it uses. When you

travel abroad, you must remember to change to an

appropriate band.

Press the Up or Down key until the appropriate option

highlights and press the

Select

soft key.

When you select a new band, your phone automatically

searches for all available networks. Your phone registers

with a preferred network within the band.

Active line

(Menu 9.5.7)

Some SIM cards may used with 2 subscriber numbers.

This function is available only if your SIM card supports

it.

This menu allows you to select the line to be used to

make calls. However, calls can be answered on both

lines, regardless of the selected line.
