Using the keys in Capture mode
You can use the following keys to customise your
camera settings when you are in Capture mode.
Key
Function
flips the image vertically.
views the mirror image.

changes the camera mode.

changes the image brightness.
changes the image size.
selects an image quality.
turns the flash on or off.
changes the color tone or applies a
special effect to the photo.
sets a timer.
shows the available memory space.
uses the backlight compensation
feature.
switches to the Photo Album menu
(MENU 6-2).
switches between Normal screen mode
and Full screen mode.

Recording a video
1. On the Digital Camcorder screen, choose Video
Recording and press
.
The image to be captured appears on the
display.
2. Adjust the image by rotating the camera module
and aiming it at the subject.
When you press
, you can use the camera
options. See page 122.
You can change the image settings by using the
keypad. For details, see page 123.
3. Press
or to start recording.
Note: To use the flash while recording a video
clip, press and hold until you want the
flash to turn on.
4. When you are finished, press
.
Otherwise, the phone will automatically stop
when the allowed recording time expires.
5. If necessary, clear the default name using
.
6. Enter a name for the video and press
.

The phone saves the video clip in the Video Album
menu (Menu 6-3), and returns to Record mode.
