Using T9 Mode

Section 5

If the word is correct, start entering the next word.

Otherwise, press the

key repeatedly to display

alternate word choices for the keys you have pressed.

Complete each word with a space by pressing the

key.

Note:

To enter words not found in the T9 mode, use the ABC text entry

mode. See "Entering Text in ABC Mode" on page 68.

For example, to enter a word using T9 predictive text,
follow these steps:

In idle mode, press the
