Phone Setup

Menu 6-2

Key Guard

You can lock the keypad manually by pressing and
holding

in standby mode. This key guard mode can

prevent accidental key pressing.

In this menu, you can set your phone automatically lock
the keys. If this menu option is set to

and you are in

standby mode, your phone will automatically activate
the key guard after the predefined time.

You can temporarily unlock you keypad by pressing

and holding

. If you do not want to use the

key guard feature, set this menu option to

Off

Note

: When you have incoming calls in key guard

mode, the key guard is automatically deactivated.
After then, the phone returns to standby mode
and automatically activates the key guard after
the predefined time.

Auto Redial

With this menu option activated, your phone will
automatically retry the call up to 10 times when a
connection fails.

To activate this feature, select how often the phone will
automatically retry the failed call;

Answer Mode

This menu option allows you to select how to answer an
incoming call.

The following options are available:
