You must insert or replace the batteries in the remote control when you:

Purchase the television

Find that the remote control is no longer operating correctly

Remove the cover on the rear of the remote control by pressing
the symbol (
) upward and then pulling firmly to remove it.

Insert two R03, UM4, “AAA” 1.5V or equivalent batteries taking
care to respect the polarities:

on the remote control

Replace the cover.

Do not mix battery types, i.e. alkaline and manganese.
➢
Remove the batteries and store them in a cool, dry place
if you won’t be using the remote control for a long time.
The remote control can be used up to about 23 feet from the
TV.
(Assuming typical TV usage, the batteries last for about one year.)

If the remote control doesn’t work!
Check the following:
1. Are the plus and minus ends of the batteries reversed?
2. Are the batteries drained?
3. Is there a power cut, or is the power cord unplugged?
4. Is there a special fluorescent light or a neon sign
nearby?

Assemble the PDP with the stand and firmly secure the PDP using
4 screws provided.

Two or more people should carry the PDP. Never lay the
PDP on the floor because of possible damage to the screen.
Always store the PDP upright.
