3. Disassembly and Reassembly

3-30 Replacing the Assy Safety Valve

Using a tubing wrench and a channel-lock 

wrench, disconnect the 2 gas lines from the 

ASSY VALVE SAFETY . Do not bend or crimp gas 

lines during removal .

Remove 

gas fittings from the ASSY VALVE 

SAFETY .

 .

 

Remove 7 screws and the ASSY VALVE SAFETY, 

Tube Bake and Holder Bake Nozzle from the 

back wall of the storage drawer opening .

 .

 

Install the new ASSY VALVE SAFETY, and Holder 

Nozzle Bake on the back wall of the storage 

drawer with 7 screws .

 .

 

Reconnect wire connectors in their original 

positions . 

NOTE

Check 

all gas lines and fittings for leaks before 

operation .

WARNING

Cross-wiring the wires to the gas control valve 

creates an explosion hazard  that can result 

in death, personal injury, and/or property and 

product damage .

 .

 

Reconnect All gas lines to the ASSY VALVE 

SAFETY, Tube Bake and Holder Nozzle Bake .

 .

 

After all repair steps, scrap the Cover base part .
