When the user proﬁle backup

instruction window appears, read

the contents and click on

Specify a path to save the user

proﬁle to and save the name. When

the backup ﬁle password window

appears, enter a password and click

What is a user proﬁle backup?

This is a function for backing up the

OmniPass information (ﬁngerprint

and user account information)

registered on a computer so that

the information can be used on

another computer. For information

on how to use a backed up user

proﬁle on another computer, refer to

the Help section.

If you turn the computer on after

completing the user information

registration step, the Logon

Authentication window appears.

AuthenTec

Fingerprint Driver

, place your ﬁnger

over the ﬁngerprint identiﬁcation

sensor and place it down slowly.

If your ﬁngerprint is not recognized,

the ﬁngerprint is displayed in red

in the ﬁngerprint display window.

In this case, place your ﬁnger over

the ﬁngerprint identiﬁcation sensor

again and push it down slowly until

the ﬁngerprint is displayed in green.
