Watching Video from an External Video Device
As an example, watching video from a camcorder is described below.
To watch video from an external video device, you have to connect the com-
puter and the external video device using the AV input cable and configure the
country and input signal settings.
Playing a Video Device
You can watch video from a video device connected through the Composite or
S-Video port, on the TV Station of AVStation premium.
Some computers do not support S-Video input.
1.
Connect one end of the
AV Input Dongle
to the
Composite
or
S-Video
port of the
camcorder and connect the other end of the dongle to the
AV In port
of the system.
2.
Launch AVStation premium and click on
TV
.
3.
Select your country and only select Composite and S-Video standards when the
default settings are incorrect. Click
Tools > Option > TV > Country Settings
from the
TV Menu Bar
to set the values. After completing the settings, click the
OK
button.
The Country Settings menu may not appear depending on your computer model.
4.
Select an input signal. Select
Channel > Input Signal
from the
TV Menu Bar
and
select either
Composite
or
S-Video
.
5.
When playing a file on the camcorder, the video from the camcorder is displayed
in AVStation premium.
