To access unsent messages and continue editing:
1.

 

Press [MENU] to display the Mail Kit menu.

2.

 

Press [5 JKL] for Filed Msg. The number of pending messages display
next to the Filed Msg text.

3.

 

The filed messages will display in order. Scroll and select message to
continue editing by pressing [OK/Message].

4.

 

Follow steps under “New Messages” on page ?? to edit and send

  the message.

Message  Setup

You can preset several options for general settings or new message
transmissions, and delete all messages from the Inbox or Outbox.
1. Press [OK/Message] to display the Mail Kit menu.
2. Press [6 MNO] for Msg Setup.
3.

 

Press [1 .-’] for General.

- Press [1 .-’] for Scroll Timer. Your options are Off, 1, 2, 3, 4, or
  5 seconds.
- Or, press [2 ABC] for Msg. Reminder. Your options are Off, Once,
  or Every 2 min.

4. Press [2 ABC] for New Messages.

Press [1 .-’] to set the default Callback number. The default setting is

your own phone number. Enter a new callback number via the keypad
and press [OK/Message].

u 

Press [2 ABC] to set the Save Message options. You can toggle between

‘AutoSave’, ’Prompt Save’, or ‘Do Not Save’ for the default setting.
Press [OK/Message] to save the setting. When set to ‘Prompt Save’,
the phone will display “Store Msg?” prompt asking if the created message

  should be saved to the outbox after a message is  transmitted.

Press [3 DEF] for message Entry Method. You can toggle between

  ‘Alphabet’ and ‘Word’ (predictive keypad) for the default setting using
  the navigation keys. Press [OK/Message] to save the setting.

u 

Press [4 GHI] to set the Delivery ACK. You can toggle

  between ‘On’ and ‘Off’ for the default setting using the
  navigation keys. Press [OK/Message] to save the setting.

u 

Press [5 JKL] for Canned Messages. There are a total of 10 frequently used

canned messages preprogrammed to your phone. You can select the number
associated with each canned message and press [OK/Message] to edit it.
If you completed editing of a canned message, press [OK/Message] to save.

5. Press [3 DEF] for Erase.

u 

Press [1 .-’] for Entire Inbox.

u 

 Press [2 ABC] for Entire Outbox.

u 

Press [3 DEF] for Erase All Msg.

  When prompt displays, press [OK/Message] to accept or [C] to cancel.
  If accepted, all messages from the inbox and/or the outbox will be deleted.
