Using the HbbTV
USING THE HBBTV
HbbTV(Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV) is a major new pan-European initiative aimed at harmonizing the
broadcast and broadband delivery of entertainment to end consumers through connected TVs and set-top
boxes. If the satellite TV service provider which you are subscribed to offers the interactive service, you can
launch it at any time by pressing the
RED
button on the remote control while watching a TV program.
If an HbbTV (Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV) option
is supported by the program, you can start HbbTV by
using the
RED
button on the remote control when
HbbTV supporting program is displayed on screen.
To use the HbbTV service, connect your STB to
the internet (Refer to Page 24, CONNECTING TO A
NETWORK ROUTER, and Page 50, Network setting, for
the detail information) and select
[On]
for HbbTV
option(
[Settings]
>
[Channel]
>
[HbbTV]
). The default
setting is
[On]
.
