Program Station Names

You can assign a name or identification to each internal extension, up to 11 characters
long. The procedure for entering names is described below.
You can toggle characters between upper and lower case using the ‘A’ key. The ‘A’
key is programmable key #19 on a 24B keyset, or key #7 on a 12B keyset, or key #1
on a 6B keyset. (Refer to your

for more informa-
tion.) By default, characters are displayed in upper case. If you press the ‘A’ key, the
next character you select will display in lower case. Press ‘A’ again to return to upper
case, and so on. It is, therefore, possible to have a combination of upper and lower
case characters within a name.
Program Keys
VOLUME UP & DOWN - Used to scroll through options.
KEYPAD - Used to enter selections.
SOFT KEYS - Move cursor left and right.
SPEAKER - Used to store data and advance to next program.
HOLD - Used to clear previous entry.
‘A’ - Used to toggle upper and lower case.

3. Enter the station name using the procedure described below

to clear the entire
entry or use the
DOWN
key to move the cursor back

to store and exit programming
