Exchanging the CPU
If you are not comfortable doing the replacement yourself,

please contact a service center for support.
However, there is a cost for services related to expansion
even during the free service period.
The outside of the CPU cooling fan may differ from the
•
picture depending on the model, but the replacement
method is the same as in these instructions.
Separating the CPU
The heat sink and CPU are stuck together with heat transfer
material.
If they are carelessly separated, the CPU may be damaged.
Run the computer and wait until the heat transfer material
melts with the heat from the CPU. Then separate them.

Open the computer cover.

Disconnect the cooling fan power connector.

Remove the 4 screws holding the cooling fan and then take
out the cooling fan.

Your hands may be burned if the heat sink is hot, so let it cool
sufficiently before taking it out.
