5.5.4 Inductive limit contacts
The inductive limit contacts indicate when the
controlled variable x falls below and/or ex

ceeds an adjustable limit.
The indicator shaft of the controlled variable
x is fitted with two adjustable metal tags,
which operate the associated proximity
switches.
When the tag is located in the inductive field
of the switch, the switch assumes a high im

pedance. When it leaves the field, it assumes
a low impedance.
The proximity switches are mounted on ad

justable holders. The required switching
point can be adjusted by turning. See sec
