5. Operation
5.1
Connecting the SAMON Onion Loader

Use the hand-operated pump to adjust the tow-ring to the correct
height.

Pumping the lever: raises the support leg.

Turning the knob: lowers the support leg.

Connect the machine to the tractor.

Make sure that the tow-ring is connected properly and is secured
correctly.

Connect the hydraulic hoses using the quick-fit couplings. NOTE! The
male quick-fit coupling on the machine is the pressure side.

Connect the plugs for the lighting and electronic controls.

Fit the PTO shaft (540 PTO).

Fasten the PTO shaft protective cover safety chains.

Put the remote control in the tractor.
WARNING!!!
Always use a pressure-free return.
5.2
Adjusting the track
The track can be adjusted with the rear right wheel.
Adjusting the track:

Lift the machine until the wheel is free
from the ground.

Loosen the locking bolts.

Slide the wheel to obtain the required
track.

Tighten all locking bolts.
WARNING!!!
Make sure that the wheel is always fully retracted before transporting the machine on public roads.
