Tensioning elevator belt.
If the inspection reveals that the elevator belt needs to be tensioned then the belt can be tensioned as follows.
Tensioning the elevator belt
On both sides of the elevator belt are bots which can
adjust the tension of the belt.

Loose the safety nut (A) on both sides of the
belt.

Equally Tighten bolts (B) on both sides of the
belt.
-
Tighten safety nuts (A) on both sides again.
Adjusting the elevator belt
-
Loose the safety nut.
-
Adjust until the belt starts running onto the
center.
-
Tighten the safety nut again.
