GROUNDING
J
The optimal condition to achieve perfect coating and complete
safety for the personnel is the proper grounding of all system
components. In particular, make sure that:
• All system components are duly grounded.
• The hook holding the piece to be coated is perfectly clean.
• Tubes and grounding cables are not damaged. Should they
be worn, provide for their replacement.
An improper grounding may produce thick mists of
paint that may represent a risk of intoxication for
the personnel and an inadequate coating (
pattern
will not shape, deformed pattern, wrap back
effect, etc..
).
To avoid these inconveniences, make sure that all
system components are properly grounded.
Never use non-conductive tools and/or tanks made
of plastic or wood.
J.c - GROUNDING OF OPERATOR’S GLOVE
• Personnel operating the gun should not wear shoes with
rubber or plastic soles. If protection gloves are used,
provide a suitable grounding (J4) of the gloves (J5).
