Cleaning the gun

This gun is a precision tool. Its proper functioning requires frequent and
careful maintenance. If it is done immediately after the work, cleaning is
easier and faster.

Never use wire brushes, files, or pliers for disassembly

Short stop (less than 3 hours)

Leave the material as it is. However, if exceptionally the head is a little
covered with paint, it is prudent to clean it with a brush and solvent.

Long term absence from work

Shut off the air and fluid supply to the gun.

Relieve the pressure on the hoses by pulling the trigger or opening the gun.
Unscrew the gun head, soak it in the solvent and brush it with a brush.
Using a wrench, unscrew the nozzle and remove the needle from the
back of the gun. Soak the nozzle. Brush it. Using the solvent soaked brush,
clean the inside of the gun. Wash and brush the threads of the screwed
parts thoroughly.

Never dip the gun into the solvent
