MAINTENANCE
In order to keep fodder wagon in standby mode, proper maintenance is required. Every day,
before using the machine, perform a review. Walk around the machine, checking its external parts.
Check for damaged or missing parts. Before lubricating and performing any repairs, always
disconnect power-take off and turn off tractor’s engine. Never turn on the machine without covers
in place. Some elements of hydraulic system may get hot while machine is working. Before
inspecting the machine or performing maintenance, leave it to cool off.
After first 25h of use, check all screws’ and packings’ connections, tires’ pressure, and
whether wheels’ screws are tightened up. After every 50h, check gearbox oil, lubricate unloading
doors’ guide, and inspect the auger. After every 100h lubricate power take-off’s transmission
points, extend shaft halves, lubricate the runner, check tires’ pressure, and tighten wheels’ screws.
Every year, check hydraulic hoses for any damages or breaks, if there is a need, replace them.
Check the bearings in road wheels, if there’s a need, regulate. Fill wheel cover with grease, check if
the screws are tightened up.
Fodder’s quality depends on adequate sharpening of auger’s blades. In order to keep
fodder’s quality high, avoid overloading the tractor and the wagon during the work, increase its
longevity and reduce fuel consumption, check auger’s blades sharpness once a month. Damaged
blades should be replaced as soon as possible. Blades on the auger are not subject to warranty.
WARNING!
SCREWS AND NUTS MUST BE TIGHTENED AFTER FEW HOURS
OF NEW MACHINE’S WORK. THIS PROCEDURE SHOULD BE
USED AFTER EACH REPAIR AND INTERIM REVIEWS – AT
LEAST ONCE A MONTH.
