5 Alignments and Adjustments 

This chapter describes the methods for aligning and adjusting components in this ECR. 
 

5-1 Printer Adjustments 

5-1-1 Head Gap Adjustment

1. Move the printer head to right as illustrated in Figure 5-1. 

2. Make a space between PRINTER-HEAD and PLATEN-PLATE by rotating TRIGGER "R" to "+" direction as 

illustrated in Figure 5-2.       

3. Insert the GAP-GAUGE(0.55mm) between PRINTER HEAD and PLATEN-PLATE (Figure 5-3). 

4. Recover the PRINTER HEAD position to initial status by rotating TRIGGER "R" to "-" direction. 

5. Just move the PRINTER HEAD to left and repeat above procedure(2~4) to adjust the gap at left end. 

6. Lock the TRIGGER "R" with LOCTITE(adhesives) after setting the gap.
