3-3 Operation

3-3-4 Program Mode Diagnostics

3-3-4-(a) Test Printer/Display

PROCEDURE

1. Press the # / NS key. The register cycles completely through the Printer character set while it tests the

display.

3-3-4-(b) EPROM Checksum

PROCEDURE

1. Press the 1 key 4 times and press the CHARGE key. The printer prints (on a receipt) the software version

and the checksum data in the format shown below.

3-3-4-(c) Test Keyboard

PROCEDURE

1. Press the 2 key 4 times then press the CHARGE key.
2. Press each key on the keyboard one key at the time except C key and finally press C key.
3. Press the C key one more to exit the routine.

3-3-4-(d) Test Mode Key

PROCEDURE

1. Press the 3 key 4 times. Then press the CHARGE key. Rotate the Mode key from PGM mode VOID mode.
2. Position to show on the display each Mode’s code.
