Faults and fault rectification
Check any faults in the appliance against the following table:

The green indi
cator light does
not light when
switched on.
Main switch before appliance
not turned on.
Turn on main switch.
There is no power supply at
all.
Inform the power supply company.
Mains fuse on site has
tripped.
Possible faults on the appliance must
be checked by an authorised customer
service agent.
Reset the circuit breaker.
The appliance is
switched on but
does not heat
up.
The built-in fan
is running.
The radiant heating element
is overheated. The overheat
ing protection on the hob has
shut off the radiant heating el
ement.
Switch off the appliance.
Clean the air filter.
Allow the appliance to cool.
The overheating protection on the radi
ant heating element reactivates auto
matically once the radiant heating ele
ment has cooled sufficiently.
If the fault continues to occur, contact
the authorised customer service.
The appliance is
switched on but
does not heat
up.
The built-in fan
does not run.
The appliance is overheated.
The bimetal thermostat has
permanently shut off the radi
ant heating element.
The appliance can no longer be oper
ated.
Have the appliance checked by the au
thorised customer service.
If you cannot remedy the fault,
‒ switch off the appliance and disconnect from the mains,
‒ do not open the housing,
‒ contact the authorised Customer Service agent.
