•
Clean the exterior of the wine cellar with water and a mild detergent.
•
Dry all parts thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth, before plugging the unit
back into the electrical outlet.
NOTE:
Never use abrasive products (scouring pads, powders). They may
permanently damage the surface finish of the wine cellar.
Cleaning the fan
It is recommended that the external fan be cleaned every 6 months, as dirt, dust
and hair can build up causing the cooling system to not function as efficiently.
Use a vacuum cleaner and collect the dirt, dust and hair that may have
accumulated on the fan.
NOTE: Always unplug the unit before cleaning the fan.
Power Failure
Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should not affect
the temperature of your appliance if you minimize the number of times the
door is opened.
NOTE:
If the unit is unplugged, has lost power, or is turned off; you must wait
3 to 5 minutes before restarting the unit. If you attempt to restart before this
time delay, damage may occur and or the appliance may not start.
Vacations
•
Short vacations:
Leave the appliance operating during vacations of less
than three weeks.
•
Long vacations:
If the appliance will not be used for longer periods,
remove all items and unplug the power cord. Clean and dry the interior
thoroughly. To prevent odor and mold growth, leave the door open
slightly: blocking it open if necessary.
Moving your Wine Cellar
1. Remove all contents including shelves, etc.
2. Turn the leveling screw up to the base to avoid damage.
