BEFORE FIRST USE
•
Carefully unpack the coffee maker and remove all protective packing materials.
Please keep all protective packing materials away from babies, children and animals
to avoid any possible danger. It is recommended to dispose of these as soon as
possible.
•
You may wipe the outside of the machine using a clean damp cloth. Do not immerse
the coffee maker in water or other liquids. To remove any dust that may have
accumulated during packing, wash the carafe, lid and filter holder with warm soapy
water. Thereafter rinse with clean water and let dry. Do not use any type of harsh
abrasive cleaners.
•
We recommend that you rinse the machine prior to brewing your first pot of coffee.
This will remove any dust that may have settled inside the coffee maker. To do this,
fill the reservoir to the max mark and run the appliance without coffee. Let it cool,
discard the water, then use it normally.
•
Note: We recommend that you use only cold water. The automatic brewing system
has been designed to work at its best with cold water.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
•
Place the unit on a firm and stable surface. Ensure the on/off switc
h is in the “O” off
position. Place the plug in a wall socket and switch the wall socket on.
•
Lift the lid and pour water into the water tank. Ensure that the water level is always
below the “Max” mark. The numbers on the water level indicator correspond with the
number of cups of coffee being made.
•
Place the filter into the filter holder.
•
Place coffee into the filter so that the ground coffee quantity corresponds with the
amount of water in the water tank.
•
Close the lid. The coffee maker is now ready for use.
•
Switch on the coffee maker using the power switch. The power switch will light up to
indicate that the unit is on, and the unit will start filtering hot water through the coffee.
•
The heating plate will automatically switch on when the coffee maker is switched on.
This will assist in keeping the coffee warm.
Note
: The heating plate will become hot.
Do not touch the heating plate if the coffee maker is on.
