Do not immerse the coffee maker in water or any other liquid, or hold it under a
running tap to clean.
To remove stubborn spots/marks, wipe the surfaces with a cloth slightly
dampened in soapy water or mild non-abrasive cleaner. Rinse and dry a clean,
dry, soft cloth.
CLEANING MINERAL DEPOSITS (for the section of making drip coffee)
Note:
the switch referred to on the following section is the switch for drip coffee.
1. Fill the tank with water and descaler to the MAX level (it is approximately 1.25L,
the scale of water to descaler is 4:1) for further detail; refer to the instructions of
descaler. Please use
“household descaler”; you can also use citric acid instead
of the descaler (one hundred parts of water and three parts of citric acid).
2. Push drip carafe on
“keeping warm plate”, pay attention and ensure the centre
line of the carafe aligns with that of the brew basket.
3. Press the switch to
the “I / ON” position, the indicator will illuminate. After a while,
water will drop out automatically.
4. After percolating the equivalent of one cup, change the switch to the
“O” position
to stop the appliance.
5. Leave the solution to work for 15 minutes, repeat the steps of 3-5 again.
6. Turn the appliance on by pressing the switch to the
“I / ON” position and run off
the water until the water tank is completely empty.
7. Rinse the appliance with water at least 3 times.

Note:

1. To make sure your coffee maker is operating efficiently, internal piping should be
clean to peak the flavour of the coffee, you should clean away the mineral
deposits that are left every 2-3 months.
2. Fill the tank with water and descaler to the MAX level (the scale of water and
descaler is 4:1) for further detail; refer to the instructions of the descaler. Please
use
“household descaler”, you can also use citric acid / vinegar / lemon juice
instead of the descaler (one hundred parts of water and three parts of descaler),
