4.8.3.3. Relay interface.
•
The UPS has, as an option, an interface card with five relays
that provides digital signals in the form of potential-free
contacts, with a maximum applicable voltage and current
of 250 V AC or 30 V DC and 1 A.
•
This communication port enables dialogue between the
device and other machines or devices through the relays
of the terminal block on the same card, featuring a single
common terminal for all of them. From the factory, all
contacts are normally open and can be changed one by
one, as indicated in the documentation supplied with the
optional extra.
•
The most common use for these types of ports is to provide
the necessary information to the file-closing software.
