This function is reserved for those users who have a common controller which can output 0~10V
voltage control signal to control the heat pump.
If a heating system also has other heat sources expect our heat pump, such as solar heater, electric
heater etc. A main controller is needed to make every part of heating system work in order and
economically. Our heat pump has an optional connection port for the system control function, if the
main controller gives a signal of 0 to +10V, the heat pump will produce water with different
temperature.
External signal setting:
1. Dial the indoor SW1 to ON position when the unit is turned off.
2. Connect the control signal 0-10V to CN17 TS of indoor main PCB. The lead-feet near to the
CN17 is GND, the other lead-feet is control signal 0-10V. This control signal must not over 10V,
otherwise there will be a risk that the main PCB is damaged although there is a protection on it.
Note: The communication connection has polarity. The positive pole and the negative pole must be
one to one connected to the positive pole and the negative pole of the main controller.
Once this control method is in force, the wire controller is not in force anymore. The external signal
will control the setting outlet temperature of space heating/cooling.
