Troubleshooting Guide
• Make sure the power cord is securely plugged into the socket.
• Insert the power cord into a different socket
• Reset the circuit breaker if necessary/check the house fuse.
The tea maker base won’t turn on.
• The overheat control may have tripped. Let the kettle cool down.
• Ensure the tea maker is fully seated on the power base.
The tea maker is not heating up.
• The tea maker may contain too much scale. Refer to the descaling
instructions on page 8 to descale the tea maker.
The tea maker turns off before reaching the target temperature.
Temperature Display Messages:

• There is an insufficient amount of water inside the tea maker and the overheat
control may have tripped.
• Unplug the tea maker base.
• Add fresh, room temperature water to at least the minimum 0.5 L marking inside
the tea maker.
No Water
• Let the tea maker cool down at least 10 minutes.
• Plug in your tea maker base.
• Restart the heating cycle.
