Open the smallest box in the shipment to find the
machine accessories.
18.
Plug the cord from the foot control into the socket
wired to the motor (
H
). The plug can only be inserted
properly one way. Regular household current should
be used (115 volts for 110V power systems or 220-
240 volts for 220V power systems, 50-60 HZ).
Install Spool Pin
19.
Find the spool pin (silver threaded rod about 2" long)
in the tool bag.
20.
Position the spool pin on top of the machine and use to
wind bobbins by passing the thread through the most
direct hole (
I
). For home sewing use the pin to hold the
thread spool. The spool must spin clockwise.

Place the red felt disk over the spool pin. This disk is
used to cushion thread spools.
Assemble Thread Stand
(Optional)
NOTE:
Ultrafeed PLUS and PREMIUM sewing machines
also include the Integrated Thread Stand which may be
used in place of the standard thread stand. Follow the
instructions provided with the Integrated Thread Stand for
its set-up.
22.
Insert the long rod into the outlying hole in the base.
Position the hook end up over the base and secure with
the set screw (
J
). Insert the smaller rod, a post support
for the thread spool, into the center hole with the
tapered end facing up and hammer in with force (
K
).
Accessories Assembly
To attach the Flex20 LED Light, place the light in your
desired location on the machine and plug it in to a wall
socket.
Optional:
attach the included plastic clips to the
back of the sewing machine and use the zip ties to hold
the cord.
For PREMIUM Packages:
All of the additional
accessories for your machine are located in a separate
accessories box. Most add-ons contain their own
installation instructions.
