IMPORTANT Your answering machine is able to record individual
messages of up to 2 minutes.
Your answering machine will turn itself off once it has
reached its recording capacity (12 minutes for high
recording quality / 24 minutes for standard recording
quality (For further details, see section “
Changing the
recording quality ”, on page 46)).
In such case please check and delete your old
messages to free up memory space.
Enabling/disabling the answering
machine
When the answering machine is enabled, the icon is displayed.
Menu > ANS.MACH > ANSWERING MODE > ON or OFF
Note Select the preferred D790A answering machine setting:
• Answering machine activated: the message read/record
function is handled by your
D790A answering machine.
• Answering machine deactivated: the message
read/record function is handled by your operator.
