Maintenance
With an emphasis on simple
design, the SpotHeater SH1000
is designed to be reliable and
durable, where it is easy to
replace parts when necessary.
Removing and installing the IR tube
CAUTION:
Before changing the infrared tube, ensure that
the SpotHeater is not connected to a power outlet and is
not hot.
1.
Loosen the screws in the grille and lift it together with
the IR tube covers. Loosen the screws holding IR tube
in place.
2.
Lift out the old IR tube and put the new IR tube in its
place.
3.
Hold the IR tube with one hand while tightening the
screws with the other. The IR tube is made of glass and
is sensitive to excess vibration, so be sure to secure it
firmly.
4.
Put back the IR tube covers and then the protective
grille, and secure them both firmly.
NOTE:
Recycle old IR tubes where possible.
