Blueridge Soft Shoulder Guitars

50’s inspired soft shoulder dreadnaughts!

The Blueridge BG Series features the famous soft shoulder
dreadnaught design made famous in the 1940’s and 1950’s. Each
model has all features that make these guitars so recognizable,
while at the same time, includes modern and original refinements
that make an already great guitar design even better.

The Blueridge BG-160 features a vintage sunburst top made
from choice, solid spruce, delicately X-braced for optimum tone
and volume, solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, a low-
profile mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and intricate
pearl position marks, a vintage-style rosewood bridge with bone
saddle, and a uniquely original peghead shape design with
intricate inlays and Blueridge logo in pearl. The BG-140 shares
all of the same features listed above with the exception of the
back and sides being made from Honduran mahogany.

For the more budget minded musician Saga offers the BG-60
and BG-40 whose wood selection is similar to their higher
priced counterparts, with the exception of the backs and sides
being made from laminate materials.
