Before using the Spider

UpPro P2514 or P2314 Hoist, learn the procedures described in this
manual. Any operation in violation of these instructions may result in bodily injury or death.
This manual is included with each Spider
®
UpPro P2514 or P2314 Hoist. Additional copies are
available from your hoist supplier. Keep a current copy of this manual with the hoist at all times. It
is the duty of the employer to provide each operator with a copy of this manual. Spider
®
reserves
the right to make changes or modifications to its hoists. Users of this equipment must request
current operating information prior to using this equipment. Call your local hoist supplier for
additional information.
The design and manufacturing of the Spider
®
UpPro P2514 or P2314 complies with UL1323
standards. The use of these Spider
®
hoists within the United States is governed by OSHA CFR
29. Consult OSHA CFR-1926 for temporary applications and OSHA CFR 29-1910 for permanent
applications.
