Untrained personnel attempting to
service or do maintenance on a
Dock shelter could result in damage
to equipment or injury to personnel.

Possible Catastrophic
•
Owner to ensure only Safetech trained and accredited people carry out
service or maintenance.
OR
•
Develop & implement a preventive maintenance plan for the unit.
• Create a competency based training program for servicing the unit.
• Train & authorise personnel on the safe & correct service of the unit using a
Safetech Service maintenance prop or equivalent.
• Only suitably trained & skilled personnel to service the unit.

Dock shelter could result in injury to
personnel and damage to
equipment.
Possible Catastrophic

unit.

• Develop & implement a plan for modifying the unit.
