This chapter describes the operation of the Safescan 6165, as well

as the menu structure of the device.

7. Troubleshooting

Error message

Description

SUSPECT - CHECK ITEM

Incorrect number of coins

detected in a coin roll /

incorrect number of banknotes

detected in a banknote bundle.

Solution:

Check the coin roll / banknote

bundle for any missing or

excess coins / notes. Correct

this and count again. Due to

the high weight tolerance of

banknotes, the 6165 is not

able to detect incomplete

banknote bundles.

REMOVE ALL

There are still items present

on the platform after

“OK”

has

been pressed - or the money

platform was not empty during

taring.
