Step 4

Configuring the serial ports

Select the [Options] item from the menu and click [Settings].

Click the [Communication] tab.

Settings for the PSTN modem:

• Check the [Enabled] box below the header “Telephone

modem”.

• Select the desired COM port.

• [Answer after 2 rings]: specify how many times the phone

should ring (between 1 and 16) before SLCC answers the call.

• [CPC Protocol]: check this box if the lift telephone uses the

CPC alarm protocol (this is an option to SLCC)

Settings for the GSM modem:

• Check the [Enabled] box below the header “GSM modem”.

• Select the desired COM port

• [Baud rate]: set the desired transmission speed for the modem.

• [PIN code]: enter the PIN code, if required. Settings both for

PSTN and the GSM modem:

• Follow all instructions on this page.
