SPECIFICATION
Definition: The Airone XP3 Ducted Fume Cupboard has been designed and tested to
have a minimum face velocity of 0.5m/s, at a working sash height of 450mm.
This will provide containment characteristics (barring outside influences i.e.
building columns and poor siting) well within that required in BS EN 14175-
1:2003
Application:
Whenever the operator and the environment need to be protected from
gaseous or particulate contaminants.
Construction: Aluminium extrusions and mild steel panels, painted in epoxy powder coat,
Light Grey RAL-7035 and White RAL-9016, and a compact laminate top
panel.
The internal lining panels are to customer specification.
The suspended/counterweighted front sash is in toughened safety glass
with an epoxy powder coated extruded aluminium handle.
The work tray is grey cast epoxy resin as standard, although ceramic work
tray are available as an option.
Sash:
The vertical sliding sashes on this Walk-in Fume Cupboard, are laminated
safety glass and is suspended by a counterweighted. As standard these are
manually operated.
Control Panel: Digital control system located on the right hand aerofoil.
Light Switch: For the integral LED light fitting, this is located on the left hand aerofoil.
Supply:
Unit is fitted with a standard 13A plug top.
Performance: The average inflow at the working aperture is 0.5 m/s.
The maximum working aperture of the upper sash is 450mm high.
