DHD-3 Digital Hand Dynamometer – Operation
Auto Mode
1. Press
PWR
button once to turn on the device in
Testing Mode
.
2. Press and hold the
SAVE
button for
Auto Mod
e. After two beeps, "
Auto
"
appears on the display and
Auto Mode
testing begins with the
LEFT
hand.
After one beep, Auto Mode testing begins for the
RIGHT
hand.
3. Instruct the patient to grip the DHD-3 according to proper testing protocol
starting with their left hand and then switching to their right hand for
testing.

and the interval between tests.
5. Upon completion of
Auto Mode
testing, A

CV
and number of tests

Test Number
) are displayed for each hand indicated by
LEFT

(fl ashing).
6. Auto Mode test results are automatically saved.

Accuracy of the maximum grip force measured is not affected if the beginning
reading is not exactly
0.0
